Hey I found this WWII era box at work. Wondering if anyone here is interested? If so post it here and e-mail me at: Torindelvo@yahoo.com I look at my e-mail regularly. Make me a resonable offer I have no Idea what these boxes go for. I couldn't find any boxes on the internet either? About the Box: Its dated May 1945 the pictures should tell the rest. Attachments:

It would have carried two charges for an 8in Howitzers (So the box says). The army used a lot of 8in guns for coast defense prior to the build up of the coast defense bases. Some were mounted on what they called panama mounts and others were on a rail car chassis. In Alaska they were used throughout the war as part of the coast defense system there. Here in the lower 48, they were used early in the war and most were phased out once the 6" and 16" enplacements were built. (just a little history lesson) Boxes like this as far as I have seen are not worth much 10-20 bucks maybe, if that???
