can't be used by the Germans unfortunately. Correct. But you had been talking about some of the Americans possibly building a Russian impression for eastern front events. That isn't a bad price for a real semi auto submachine gun.

can't be used by the Germans unfortunately. Good! LOL. I am sure there were captured 43's in use. True. But it's still what the MCHA likes to call "special snowflake" syndrome. In reenacting it's the status quo or what was "normal" that rules the day. We have guys that want to be Marine Force Recon that will find a picture of a FR team member packing a Swedish K submachine gun. Cuz he stole/traded whatever, for it in country. And the next thing you know you've got a 6 man Force Recon team that are all packing Swedish K's. It never happened that way. That's just an example. It is too bad though that obviously MP 40's are just not as plentiful as eastern bloc stuff.

can't be used by the Germans unfortunately. Not for Western front events, but I don't see why it couldn't be used by Germans for Ost Front events ...? (I'm not saying an entire squad of guys, of course.) Frederico

I know exactly what you're talking about, but have never heard a term for it and I'm going to start using it. For me though, the "Good Idea Fairies" really take the cake. Frederico
