Work Party Day August 29
We need everyones help. We will be working on a bunker, clearing roads, digging trenches and building obstacles. This is a one day activity, although you are welcome to camp on site. It will be at the Colville location.

What kinds of tool are we going to need? I have a small chain saw and a couple of axes along with your basic shovels and stuff.
Do we have a location on this site yet?

All of the above would be great! Yes we have the address. The unit commanders will share it with their men.

I'd like to get my trailer out and camp over from Saturday if that's possible. My son and I have been chomping at the bit to get out in the sticks. We'd be able to get some stuff done on the Saturday too perhaps, then get a good start that Sunday morning.

I think if we do stay the night there lets stay up at the USMC Camp Basilone, there are already tents and everything set up there enough for 20 + guys plus if we can all stay together it will help build that comradery among all of us, will be quite a hike by foot as the roads are taken by trees and brush, but i think we could bring up some water jugs (beer kegs) and food. Another good thing would be that its close to both the Heer and American base camps also be far enough from the road that people wont bother us. Whats your guys view on this? heck the camp is all set up just missing the people lol.

great idea! Since it is also the original event date I am sure the land owner wouldn't care if we stayed over one night

Any more details on this? Location? Directions? Going up Saturday and camping over (which the wife just might put the kabosh on...grrrrrrrrrrrr)?
In uniform? Are we going to be doing photos or perhaps a pick up skirmish?

As for American, uniforms not requried (unless you want to work in them then more power to you). The plan is to work on the site. Blake and Bruce are in charge on the American side since I will be gone. For the Americans the plan is to get the HQ area ready and possibly digging a couple LP/Ops and help the Germans get the bunker cleaned up and ready.
Bruce, still planning on staying?
