Nah, I would want one that fired blanks, even if it was only semi auto. Besides, it's $5,000; For that price I would definitely want something that could shoot.

If I were to go the gas-gun route, I'd just get a cut up parts kit, which are much cheaper ($600 at IMA www.ima-usa.com/product_info.php/products_id/313).
