Nick, how is E Company's roster looking? With our incorporation and reorganisation I've found myself facing a new set of logistics problems, that being that my infantry impression is far from complete and I am very short of funds to correct it.
Both my son's uniform and mine is a mix of HBT pattern two jacket and pattern one trousers because ATF was out of the p2 trousers at the time. We both still need boots and wools. I also noted on the unit website that 1936 packs weren't in the TOE, which means I'd have to get another M1928 pack.
On the flip side my son only needs a jump uniform and a 1936 pack to complete his AB impression....see where I am going with this?
If E Company is still hurting for recruits then we'll definitely stick with the 1ID as long as the screwy mixed uniform won't be a problem. I can get by with no pack and I can make my son a pair of ersatz boots like I made for myself to go with the leggings. How strict are we going to be as an organisation?
