Mr. Cruz,
I am sorry that this email is so late. Thank you for the information. We will do our best to place you next some WWII aircraft. I don't think there are many grassy areas out on our ramp and we'll try to setup you up with any of your power needs. If you at all possible Sir, I'd like to know some dimension on your display. How many vehicles will you be bring? What types are vehicles are they. How many tents are you thinking of bring? How big are they? What are your power requirement? I might be sending you another email to find out some more specifics but if you can give me as many details as you can it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
Very Respectfully,
Joshua Ramirez, 1Lt, USAF

Gentlemen,
Lets get a little organized here. I would like to nominate Doc and Blake to determine these requirements from the American side. I can do the same for the Krauts. I also spoke to Chuck of the RPS and he is very supportive of our efforts and would like us to have fliers available for all the men at the next event inviting them to come down.
I will find out our time frame.
Would you rather setup in one of the hangers or be outside?
Klaus

It would probably be bloody hot out on the flightline, at least that's been my expereince. My vote is for a display within one of the hangars. However, it if means we have a chance on being set up next to a C-47 out on the flightline, I am all for that. Would go good with the paratrooper impression!

I would say outside if we want to setup tents. We could have atleast 3 small wall tents, a small wall fly, pyramid tent and possibly a large wall if we can get it fixed in time. Plus 1-3 trucks 1-3 jeeps?
I'll email my buddy and see what he would want to bring.

No nothing like that yet. I emailed him this morning with our space requirements and asked him to call. Hopefully more soon.

Redeye, with you being prior service you should know the best set up spot. Can you also go the the site an do a range recon of the area? I dont kjnow what it is there but to hold an event in Germany on an Army post, you have to have your weapons with SN#s on the access roster so they can turn them into the SP (Security Police) station. We also make our guys sign a liability statement before they arrive so if they get hurt then they cannot sue the military. I dont know how it works but I am sure you guys have done this before so I will shut up now. take care and have fun with it.

We will need a head count prior to going but just about anyone should be welcome to come and dress the part.

At this point this is open to us local guys. It is not not affiliated with any other club or organization. If someone from the west side wants to go then they should contact us.

It would be cool if they'd let us put on some blank fire skirmishes...that may be wishing for too much tho.
