Still very far behind on getting my stuff together. Other stuff comes up that steals what little coin I have. Got no idea when I will be able to feild a decent impression. Because of this I may have to stick with a GI impression (Sorry Klaus) because the biggest cost, a weapon, is already in the bag complete with blank adapters. Got an M-41 jacket, helmet, Garand ammo belt and the leggings so I am much farther to completion than with the German uniform (helmet and belt only).

LOL, you're too easy, Sean! I think where the Germans are too greatly outnumbered I could throw on the Flecktarn and call it good, but I'd really like to attend one of the big official events at some point also.
When is the next Spokane event?

That is what I am talking about, the real events.
We havn't worked out what we want to do next, we are talking about going to the Gun show in April all dressed up, and a possible display at Felts Field, and I know Doc already has a display planned in a few weeks I think

I know what you mean about dropping a what littel coinage we get. I just dropped over $1,000.00 dollars on one kit (American medic) and almost finished with my basic kit for the Germans (300.00 Euro which is $460.00 USD). Actually I splerged and got a Asssault Frame for my German kit. Try this web site www.lomax-militaria.de, Dont worry its in english also (kind of). But he had his tent set up and i dropped abunch of money. |
