You guys have any experience with these guns? I was kind of interested until I saw the cost of the ammo and a video of an MP-40 PFC firing. The shells flying out were cool but the muzzle effect was lame, like the smoke was being gently blown out of the barrel. Couldn't gauge how loud it was from the vid also.
Your thoughts?

what is PFC, one of the cap guns? I havn't heard too much about them, but what I have heard wasnt so good, mostly the cost of the ammo, the not quite as realistice feel of the weapon. Are there reviews on these things?

You can check some out here: www.wwiiguns.com/ I was originally considering something like an MP-44 until I saw the cost associated with it. I thought, quire erroneously, that the PFC gun may be an inexpensive way to go, considering real MP-44s are not available. Boy was I wrong! The cost of the MP-40 isn't too bad, but they looked pretty chinzy.

Must be a rich man's hobby...I would sorely love to field an MP-44 or FG-42 tho....

Herr Unteroffizier is saving money to get a blank file mp-40. I know he sold his G-43 and a number of other items to get the cash, it is about $2000. I can post a link to it later.

Well, that makes me feel a little better, no way in heck I'd have $1200 for it. I think he's loco getting rid of it for a blank fire gun tho.

I thought so to, but the blank fire is actually more usable and the other had difficulty with the blanks

Still, that's a chunk of history that a blank gun will never have. Sigh....
