So I was at the Vets Home today and I talked to my friend Rudy who was in the 4th Marine DIvision for the whole war. He told me when they were on troop ships just about to invade Saipan, a Japanese Submarine ran into the troop carrier he was on. Has this happened alot during the war?

Well, considering the Kamikaze phenomenon and the Japanese code of Bushido, it doesn't surprise me too much.

Yea, he said it didn't explode but when it hit it made the whole boat shift. All the Marines on the boat had to stay below deck.
