The 50's green wool pants are ok as stop-gaps for new guys, but wait and get the real deal. I get originals on eBay for cheap, but I wear 30s. You can find them at thrift stores too, the mustard color is the most desirable. The colors varied, but you won't get whined at if you have the yellowish color.

So what is the proper way to wear the US canvas leggings? How does the lace go through and properly secure the thing? I rigged it the last time I had them on but I don't think they were correct...aside from being laces in instead of laces out that is...

So what is the proper way to wear the US canvas leggings? How does the lace go through and properly secure the thing? I rigged it the last time I had them on but I don't think they were correct...aside from being laces in instead of laces out that is... Start with the leggings over your leg , make sure that you line up the hooks and eyelets like this once you have them lined up start lacing them up like this Note that once you get to the top you should have lace left over feed the lace through the hole farthest back like this once you have done that , feed the lace back through the hole on the front now make a few knots to secure the legging and hide the left over lace into the legging once you have done this , grab the strap on the bottom of the legging , pass it under your service shoe and tighten down the strap like this Hope this helps.

I take it the string at the bottom is knotted as not to allow it to pass through the eyelit? Yes, this helps a bunch, thanks!

Has anybody heard any bad things about the web site "What Price Glory"? I was just wondering if anybody had heard anything about them. Where would you consider on buying things, I bought a German helmet from HK Keith, and its not to bad. I was just wondering though. Thanks

Are ATF package deals pretty good? Are the package deals worth the money to get, because I was thinking about getting the American infantry package one. Is that a pretty good deal?

Thats a Herring Bone Twill, not the wool type. Good for afrika and italian events, but not hte west front or eastern front ones. We do 1-2 events a year italian front.

Okay, that's good info. Its nothing I could pick up any time soon anyhow, but I always book mark sites like that that may bear fruit later on. LOL. I am about a 44 to 46. Stuff usually doesn't fit me in the arms, its usually too short, so I have to get things a little big.

We have a size 44 wool jacket that is extra. I may be able to get it for you at a steal, but they are not going to go for it if you don't also join the unit. We often sell things within the unit at discounted prices and if you joined they would go nuts looking for items for you at the cheapest possible rate.
