I was just talking to one of the GI's and he suggested that we get together before the event to coordinate things.

Just a few questions,
Insurance? Porta Potties? Fees?
Just curious, I have been involved in the leadership of a northwest Colonial Reenactors organization for many years, these are just a few of the hurdles to jump over, and wondering if anything has been organized like this before by this group.

Doc has a waiver that everyone will need to sign and was looking into extending our PNWHG insurance into the project. This is a single day thing so potties are probably out of the question. No fees and this is is supposed to be for all friends, not the public, and the site doesn't cost us anything. I think of it more as a training event and introduction for some new people and a reason for us to get together and come up with something more official.

Sorry guys for not being around. Been a busy week. Looks like things are coming along. I do have a waiver form that I need to update then will send out to everyone. Like Klaus said, this is just a 'get together' to help get more people involved in the hobby. If this one goes well, maybe we can extent this into something bigger.
We are still working it out but those who can make it, we plan on having a camp out saturday night. But that is still up in the air at this time.

I forgot to add, Klaus, I'm out of town starting today (Sunday) and will not be back until late Thursday so to get together would have to be sometime after that.

I spoke to the GI's and we agreed to meet at Chili's at NorthTown Mall. How about lunch, say 12:00.

Any chance we can make this get together on a weekend? I work Monday thru Fridays evenings and three days a week on days in addtion to my evening shifts.
