I just picked up a US Army foot locker at a yard sale. Someone painted it white on the inside, and there is a Railroad Shipping Receipt stuck to the outside of it. It was shipped to California in February 1945.
It is missing the inner tray. Does anyone have any idea how i can get a replacement?

Well if I would ever get off my butt and out to the shop I could make you one. There use to be a company called Liberty Crate that made them but they are no more. I have a couple myself that are missing the inner tray. The one nice thing with the tray missing is that you can fit more stuff in it.  |

Yeah, I just filled it up with all my stuff. I would like to make/get one. Perhaps I can come over and we can do it together? Is your work area heated?
