I received the ammo today put only got the 30-06 though  So I'm waiting to hear back on the ammo for you German guys. We have 200 rounds of 30-06 so we should have enough to cover for the day. |

Well, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the ammo for you germans will show up on time but if it doesn't, what do we want to do? Do we want to move the date? It won't be much fun if it is one sided.
Klaus, maybe get a hold of some of your unit members and see if they can ship some of their extra ammo. If they ship it Wednesday, it should be here by the weekend. Just a thought. I'll keep you guys in the loop once I hear something back.

Got my blank adapter for the Garand ordered but it will not be here in time for the event. Crap!
Does anyone have access to .30 Carbine blanks?

Doc, if you don't get back to me by tonight, I will talk to my Unit Leader and see if he can ship me 8mm blanks.
Red, hopefully one of the Ami's can help you with that?

Any chance this event can be postponed a couple weeks? Definitely don't want to screw things up for you guys, but I may not be able to make it this Sunday.

Well I second that remark Redeye. Because of the ammo issue and tonight I found out that we have lost power to the barn and this weekend I must get it fixed. So between work on Saturday and needing to get this done, I'm looking like I may be out. Went it rains, it pours.........  |

SNAFU, man! FUBAR. Yeah, its supposed to be nice this weekend which means Saturday I'd have to work like mad to get stuff done outside. Personally, I think it would be cool to do the Ardennes Offensive with some snow on the ground. It would be great to be able to get more people fired up for it too.
On the plus side, I do have blank adapters on the way. Chances are good I'd have blanks bought and ready to go to for a later event too, along with a few more peices of equipment.
