Who's doing what unit 7th or 4th or all of us do both? I don't mind doing 4th and is it a generic 4th impression, and is the 7th just a generic as well?

It would be the 4th Infantry Division and the 7th Army.
The original plan of MECLHG was to bring local people together to do LH displays. The 4th and 7th are my two impressions. The 4th is my medical impression and the 7th is my late war. (Just happens to be my first complete WWII uniform that was given to me. Originally I was not looking at putting a tactical group together as there are no local events. So MECLHG was going to allow anyone in the area that had their own impression put together to join. So if someone has a 82nd or 101st impression, they could join the group. So the list of units on the main page may grow to a longer list. But my personal goal is to get a 4th ID tactical unit put together to be able to go to events with either PNWHG or NWHA. But that is probably a ways out.
So hopefully that answers the questions about that.

Hey great, tactical events are a blast. Count me in, but I dont have a single piece of US equipment, its a long ways off.

Well, I'm in for the 4th ID, What about doing a few 4th things like 4th ID Mp's or something as well. Also i might have someone interested, but as a British Para impression.

I joined the 272nd German Infantry in the PNWHG just this last spring and am trying to finish getting all my gear. Only missing a few things now. I tried to get into the 2nd Panzer in NWHA but they never responded back. From the pictures it looks like one of those guys is in my unit now anyways. We should totally have a tactical. Bring your German stuff and we can be the enemy. Who cares if its 5 vs 2, they will need the extra men anyways. What do you have and what are you building? You Americans might think that you got a K98 beat with your Thompson or Carbine, but we take careful shots, everyone hits. Klaus |
