YEP! This is a fun event and two of the Italians tried out the impression for the first time at the last event. The unit always is in close cooperation with the 272 (several ex-members).

Cool , Yeah the guys are Mike and Frederich , i like the BIAK event it's always a lot of fun , one year the FJs and a small SS squad maneuvered around the Amis and attacked them from behind while the FJs took the Amis anti tank gun the SS took the bridge , we took the amis be complete surprise and didn't suffer any casualties.

When and where will this be? Sean, is this the event we were talking about at our last meeting? I've got two weeks off in September starting the 2nd weekend I beleive, the 14th. One week is spoken for. This is a three day weekend event, correct?

Yes it is. Italian Front Tactical Private Tactical Event Sept.18 - Sept.20 The event is Friday night-Sunday afternoon. To avoid driving late at night, I prefer to take the Friday off and drive up early in the morning. It is near Redmond Oregon, about 6 hours drive from Spokanistan. Klaus When and where will this be? Jimmy and I should be there. It's a fun place, even if it is dusty and cold. Lots of wiping each other out with grenades and sprinting across all the open space.

Of course I'll be there. That place was a blast. Very dirty and did get cold but well worth it!! Maybe I'll bring the tent and stove so we can stay nice and cozy warm at night!

As luck would have it, that's right in the middle of my September vacation time! I take it US forces will be 1st ID? Put myself and my son down as "tentative" at this point...no telling what is going to pop up. How are the camps set up? Individual tents, GPs? Does the chow have to be authentic? LOL. How critical is it to have authentic period gear? Is the Axis well represented? What about unit organisation?
More questions to come, LOL.

It will be the 1st ID and 82nd will be there. If you have a pup tent, bring it. Last year they were a little short on space so a few guys were stuck in pup tents. I'm gonna try and bring my tent down this year.
As for food, bring what you want, just try and keep non period wrappers and such out of the way and coolers covered. As for gear, needs to be as correct as possible. Let me know what you have and I might be able to help you out with stuff. The axis is always well stocked with bodies to shoot at so don't worry about that!! ;D

Hey, how much does this event cost to attend? It would absolutely suck if I got our kits together then not be able to afford the event fee!

Don't know exactly yet, but I think last year it was $10 per person. I will let you know as soon as I can find out what the official cost is.
