Just wondering if there are any plans to have some events around our fair battleground?

I just finished talking to Doc, Otto, Jimmy and Blake. We are all going to get period airsoft rifles. This will allow us to attend local airsoft events, hope they dont mind if we show up all dressed up.
We are also discussing setting up a display a the next gun show. Think you could coordinate that?
At this point we don't have any battles planned unless you want one?

At this point we don't have any battles planned unless you want one? I would hold off and save your $. WW2 airsoft has a very miniscule following here in the Spokane area. No events are planned and I've heard of no plans in the airsoft community to get anything going. Since most of the events are modern, you'd look pretty goofy just showing up in your WW2 gear, and in the big events, uniforms not in line with the scenario wouldn't be allowed anyhow. That is not to say there is no interest. Plenty of people appeared to be interested during my ill-fated attempt last year to get this going, but no one is willing to invest even more money in WW2 impressions when they're still building their modern ones. I'd rather see more Spokane area reenactment events than spending a lot of time and energy trying to do stuff with airsoft. Jump into Destiny may change some peoples attitudes, I guess we can wait and see.

I think the gun show display would be really cool. Working two jobs would severely limit any coordinating efforts towards this however. I heard the cost of renting a table at the show has gone up quite a bit, also. I'd love to hook up with you guys and plan a reenacting battle, however. Maybe at Chili's or the Onion or something. I will have one of my bills paid off by mid-May which would free up some bucks for uniforms and stuff, finally! Will still have to go with the bargain uniforms, tho, sorry Sean. LOL.

Don't you dare waste your money buying a cheap uniform. We can find you the right stuff for the same price as the cheap ones! Just takes some extra looking around. LOL, okay, okay! I'll let you know when Alex and I will be in the market.
So that one online store we discussed earlier sells junk? I thought it was just because it was HBT (summer) and not wool?

these stores all have different prices. You should be able to get a wool one from Ebay or another site for the same price as that HBT.

For both trousers and the jacket? That's the main thing that attracted me to that store. Remember, I am buying for both myself and Alex...and still have to pick up a couple of Mausers.

So...back to the original topic, LOL. What about a Spokane event? I'd be game for a day on a weekend to hook up with you guys for planning. Getting cabin fever, really want to get out and sling some make beleive lead....
Hey, for the US guys, Nick, Blake, Jimmy, is HBT also frowned upon by you guys?

No, the 4th Inf was issued HBT's on DDay. I would recomend wools just because they work for you a combat uniform and dress uniform. And wool is better when its up against water and it breaths better. I got my wool pants and Ike jacket on ebay for $30, smalls sizes are on there alot.

Get both. HBTs are great for the summer, and you wear them over your wools in the winter. The intention was to keep you warm and save the wools from wear and tear. And when the day's over you can take 'em off and your wools are reasonably dry and clean.

Won't this conflict with the Liberty Belle display?
