Otto and I attended a WWII Tactical event in Washington! The 272nd was invited to attend by the 2nd Panzer Division, a group with the Research and Preservation Society (RPS).
We had a lot of fun and some with a lot of new tactical challenges. I got to ride in a Kubelwagon for the first time, and I had an opportunity to get the Iron Cross, but after my initial success to break through the enemy lines, locate our lost mortar, capture two americans to carry it back for me, I was eventually found dispatched. Maybe next time.
Photos coming soon!

I had fun in the Kubelwagen in the mud. Its pretty amazing how a VW bug engine performs so well given the circumstances. I will have photos up within the week.
