Received this through the 82 AB group. We received an invite to attend a few events with the 101st. Klaus, it sounds like you guys have fought with and will be attending these events. I thought I would pass the word to the rest of the American guys to see if they may be interested in coming along as 82nd.
Hey this is Zach Davidson with the 101. We are having a few upcoming events and was curious if the 82nd would like to come out. The 272 has come out a few times and will be attending both of these events as well.
Lyle Washington on October 9-11 D-Day night drop and training, so 42's and the whole kit.
Salem Oregon (4H Center) on November 6-8 in probably 43's for Holland or the Bulge.
We would look forward to fighting with you.

The 272 is planning on attending the November 6-8, this is the event the 272 was trying to get approval for our Americans friends to attend as well, looks like it came through.  The 272 has a WWII film in October that we will be doing on the same date, so we won't be there. Interestingly I think some of the 101st guys were going to be there too. The 272nd's experience with them was very positive. They were quite impressed by our unit and the new tactical options, authenticity and living history that we brought to the event. Klaus |

OK, new info, looks like the Oct event and the 272 activity are one and the same. I highly recommend that we all attend this if possible.

The October event is a possibility for me, with luck.

Potentially yes. The October event is not a regular thing and action will be minimal.

It is a training event and we will be working with a project. Maybe the 101 guys have more planned up the 272 has a lot to do that weekend.

Yep, always!
The October event is a bit different however, there will not be any other German units nor American units other than the 272 and the 101. The November event is a regular reenactment.
