Okay, with our reorganisation and such, how is this going to mesh with our members attending RPS or other events? Do we still need to be an RPS member to attend their sponsored events?

to attend rps events you need to be a member of an rps unit or a guest of an rps unit

Which is why I asked. So in order to be a guest are we invited or do we ask to participate?

Like myself, I am a dual member, I have membership in the RPS and I have membership in AG44. You are more than welcome to become a member of the RPS and attended their events.
At this time, AG44 has not work out reciprocity agreements with any other reenacting organization. That is something we will be working on in the future. We do not intend to alienate any organizations from attending events here as long as they are insured and follow the safety guidelines.
However, at this time, if you would like to attend RPS events, you will have to become a member.
