I am new to reenacting and I heard your organization may have a Russian Unit. I live in Montana (Libby) and would like to hook up witha Russian reenactment unit. I have a fairly complete kit already put together. If anyone can help me on this pleas call me. Bill 406 293 4280

Hi Bill, The WWIIRPS does have a Russian unit, unfortunatly they are based in California. I am not sure, but I think there is another reenacting group in the Northwest that has a Russian unit. Are you interested in doing a GI impression?
Anyway, Welcome!

Hi Bill, welcome to our forum! We use this as a place to get together locally, we occasionally have meetings and even attend little events locally. We also use it as a place to coordinate so we can car pool to events on the west side. Since your on Za Rodina, I see that you have already found the RKKA Northwest. They are the only Soviet unit within our region. Their website is www.rkka-northwest.org (I am proud to say that I helped them create it and have seriously contemplated joining them many times.) We have another guy in Spokane who also has a Soviet kit but I don't think he has had the opportunity to use it yet. Otherwise you are our first official Soviet in the area. Klaus

I know and have met Cyrus. Am not sure how active he is now. He use to have a store here in Libby but closed it and went out of business. If there is an event you guys have that presents all the allies I would be glad to show up with the kit I have. I go to SPokane almost weekly but it is mostly to the VA hospital there via the Libby shuttle. Would love to meet some of the members if there is a gathering.

I wasn't aware Cyrus closed his "brick & mortar" store, but Soldat FHQ is still in business on the web. www.soldat.com/Frederico
