Blake and Jimmy's primary impression is 1st ID. AB is a secondary for them. They will not make the full switch to AB. You will find in this hobby a lot of US reenactors have multiple impression.

Hey Ranger, welcome aboard. I am a Servicemember stationed overseas and I do both American and German. I have to say that I have fun doing both. The best/cheapest way I started reenactment was start as an American Medic. then you can slowly save up an buy the riflemans kit with Rifle. But I like playing German alot better because being over here in Germany really opened my eyes as how the German Vets are treated. (They are treated like crap). Besides the Germans have better weapons, equipment, and we look cool doing it, and the bonus is that we have cookies. Besides you can also learn the basics of another language. Klaus has some great pictures I am sure he can share with you. Just remember that there are more American Reenactores than German in the US. So I welcome you to join the ranks of Feldgrau and look cool. Wilkommen mein kammeraden zum die Wehrmacht. I am ready, Und du? Ranger you can bring your brother also. Klaus, sorry for the recruitment gig I am trying. Otto Stutzle

I now remember discussing this with them when we met at 7 Mile, duh. Guess I will be hooking up with the 1 ID then. Should I go through Blake or head over the 1 ID website?

Buying rifles through CMP...does this group count as an approved organization? If so is there a way to get evidence that my brother and I are members?
Thanks
