Hey guys, I got an M43 E-tool cover coming for my folding shovel, only thing is I can't figure out how to mount it to my pack. I've seen pictures galore of the shovel mounted on GI's packs, but I can't recal seeing any connection points on the back itself.

Which pack do you have? If it is the M1936 pack then it will not go on it, it will have to be on your belt, left or right side which ever you like.
The M1928 haversack it goes under the meat can pouch on the hanger there.
