I'll do airborne, but only when I have to. I'm a leg first, maybe Kraut second, then airborne. Speaking of which, how much extra gear does the 272 have? I may occasionally switch sides, they tend to have better food.

And yes, I wouldn't mind being an NCO. 1st ID will load me and Jimmy up with stripes if we bring a whole squad to an event. They even really like 'that airborne guy'.

Loaner gear is limited. We would have difficulty outfitting more than 3-4 guys. In Spokane we have one complete loaner kit (minus the tunic), but could get a passable second.

We are far from a platoon, maybe a squad of men. If you can wait on joining a group until after the first of the year. There may be some shuffling of units in the different organizations so I hate for you to join one organization and have us be under another. Once Klaus and I know for sure what units are where we will let you know.

Yeah Redeye dont think Velcro would be a good idea even if you were being short for army regulations 670-1 lol

I would also say to wait to officially join a unit. At least don't pay any unit dues. You can still go to events as a guest and only pay the event fee. The organizations are all screwed up currently and nobody knows how things will end up.
