So I remember talking to klaus and a few others at the impromptu meeting about making a website. I plan to make one for the group me and Bruce are starting. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
Also just wanted to mention that I like to get more involved so keep me posted about anything I can do to help or meetings.

I nominate you to build us the web site. Put up a mockup and give us a link and we can discuss it here. I have thousands of photos to add to it too.

You are paying for yours i see. I'm using a free hosting site right now until I get everything built like i want it.
I was looking at ways to promote the website and figure we could link it to facebook and twitter to help bring in curiosity.

Hmmm must have missed that detail haha. Only a mock site atm. Just fiddling around with what i got.
I'm without my graceful dreamweaver so the construction of the site is going slower than I would like.
But this site has all the essentials. Forums for communication, new, calendars, etc... Plus it has twitter and facebook notifications which i think will be nice for bringing in recruits and keeping everyone informed one way or another.

Yeah, the mockup is great! Is this one of the templates they provide? I think you are on the right path with this.

Unfortunately, yes it is one they provide. I would like to do something less generic with the back ground and that is why I made this thread =D I would like you ideas on what you think would make the site visually appealing and other opinions you have on functionality!

The basic layout is good. At the moment, until we know what we want to do here as a group, it is kinda hard to layout a website. Are we going to be an actual group or attach ourselves to one of the other organizations or what? We have been hashing this over for most of this year. Klaus, speak up and let us know what you think. You are our ring leader!
The mock up is a good start. The content will come once we figure how we what to go about things. I do like the idea of havinf the forum part of it. We have been talking about dumping this one and starting a new one once we figured out what we plan on doing.
Thanks for working on this for us!

Sure thing! It's really no problem at all. I wanted to help out anyways.
Also I believe its 4.95 a month for the premium service for this hosting site. Once we figure everything out I will most likely go ahead and pick up the premium service because i don't think the mock up could handle the thousands of pictures Klaus has! Also I will get the actual domain name as well so there isn't the .webs.com attached to it.
Anyways get on it klaus! master of the ring!
