Hey guys, just wondering what type of footgear you guys wear during the colder months. I know for damn sure the normal GI combat boots aren't made for warmth!

Neither are the German boots with the hob nails. We wear Felted winter combat boots, but unfortunatly I don't actually have a pair and may have to just tough it out like last time. It wasn't so bad if you have some high quality wool socks on.

For the Battle of the Bulge camp outs that the Living History Group i belong to does , i wear my M43 Double Buckle boots with the Felt and Rubber over boots over them.
For Snow events that i turn out as German i wear the WWII German Leather and Felt boots , with a pair of socks and foot wraps.
Never had a problem with cold feet.
