If they are the mustard color not actual green, they will get you by for the moment. It just depends on the color. The actual design can be a little different and they are usually the darker OD but I have seen guys use them.

They're more the brownish/green/mustard than say, HBT style dark olive green. There are wool shirts also, but I think they're wrong from the get go. ATF describes there's as a wool flannel. The shirts at the army surplus a pretty much wool. They have red stenciling on the inside for size and type, but its pretty much unreadable.

I would have to see the shirt for sure. I have a post war wool/fannel shirt and it is exactly the same except there is no tag and the information is stamped in red.

I will see if I can get a pic. I know both the owner and Kevin who usually works the counter, so I don't think they'll have a problem with it.

Tell Kevin I say hi! I have known him for a long time. Kevin used to collect WWII stuff so he would know. I'll have to try and run up that way next week and check it out.

On closer examination the trousers were too green and had zipper flies also. So...the hunt goes on.
And Nick, Kevin says hi!
