Yup, those are good. If they go above 35-40 bucks, don't worry about it. You can get them through vendors for that price. Mine are original and I paid 40 I believe for them through one of the vendors.

With any luck I will be ordering my uniform from At The Front with my next paycheck. The last time I checked they were out of most sizes of the wool uniforms so I may have to go HBT.
Sean, have you come across any killer deals for German stuff before I take the official plunge to the US side? LOL.

Okay, doesn't look like I will be able to afford the wool uniforms, even tho it appears that my sizes are in stock. So, which pattern of HBTs should I get, 1st pattern or 2nd pattern? Also, a little confusion here. The uniform packages come with a "jacket" and a pair of trousers. Is the jacket to be worn over a shirt or is the jacket actually a shirt that I would wear my M41 jacket over? www.atthefront.com/

Get whichever pattern you like, both are right for what we do. Most guys have 2nd pattern, but there's nothing wrong with being a little different. You can wear it how you like. Prevailing wisdom is that they were designed to go over the wools, and GIs wore the pants that way. I haven't heard of HBT jackets being worn over 41 jackets though. You can wear a wool shirt under the jacket if you want, it's all dependent on the weather. No one expects you to have accurate heat stroke.

The only shirts I see available at At the Front are $85! Ouch! Are there cheaper alternatives available?

There always is. Sticking to a single vendor will rapidly run you out of money. Also check EBay, you can get some great stuff for less that way. The only shirts I see available at At the Front are $85! Ouch! Are there cheaper alternatives available?

I think we talked about it before but, Remember to go to the surplus store and get a pair of black jump boots and cut them above the 6th eyelet. Put some leggings on them, paint them brown and they will work until you can get some service shoes. I understand about the price issue though, thats why I play an American Medic. I dont have to have a weapon (which is hard to register and expensive over here in Europe) so I dont need ammo pouches or any other stuff. I play a medic and my buddy hooked me up with a complete impression for $500.00 USD (See Operation Cobra in Past events.) Thats what I picked up from him. Also At The Front prices are expensive but the guy who sold me my medic impression said that, that is as close to original looking stuff without it being original. I can ask my buddy when I see him at my Recruitment drive next week and ask if he will ship over seas to you if you dont mind. Hes been collecting for 20+ years with no children, so he has a bunch of stuff and always buying more but if you want I can ask.

That's not an M36 , that's the M45 suspender , $28 is a little high for those , i picked up a pair of M45's about a week ago for $5 a piece. I will keep an eye out for the stuff you have on the list. Next weekend is the Olympia Air Show , i will see if i can get you some stuff there. Ed. So what is the difference between the M36 and M45 suspenders? Been checking several on Ebay but want to make sure they're the right ones.

M36 are more the khaki and m45 are the OD and they are used after 1945. I would get m36's because you can use them for the whole war

Does anybody know about "what price glory" web site? Does it have good stuff there or is it a bunch of Junk. I was thinking about doing a British impression. Has anybody heard about the stuff there?

Got a Musette bag today off Ebay for $19+$9 shipping. Presently watching a couple auctions for suspenders.
Hey, were Garand belts worn seperate from the canteen belts or could they be worn in place of the canteen belt with the suspenders and Musette bag?

Your canteen and suspenders would hook to the garand belt. No need for a seperate belt for those items.

What Price Glory has ok stuff. The uniform items I have from them are ok but not as good as ATF. I'm not impressed with their web gear, it's nowhere near as sturdy. The WPG pistol belt I have has lost its eyelets and the metal hook is bent out almost straight. I have some of their British stuff too, but I don't know enough about original Brit stuff to render an educated opinion.
