It went well. My squad had one very brief night engagement, getting flanked and wiped out instantly. Hey, were you in that squad with Doc when MY patrol stumbled upon you and the three of us obliterated you all? That makes TWO, both from 4 feet away! Klaus I was on perimeter facing the exact opposite direction. Your German Rambo let us have it with the Mp40 from about 4 ft away. I couldn't see anything anyway, so imagine my surprise when two guys ran right up to us without anyone doing anything. Bonehead kids in my squad were rather useless. Doc said the one was standing around in the middle of the open field after the jump.

Awesome! That is so fricken funny. We didn't know you were there. We literally stepped on you. It is really surprising since your group should have spotted us 20 meters before we got there. When I heard Doc say "Mass Casualties" I looked over the bush and you guys were all bunched up together on the road dazed and confused.

Yeah, since you guys wiped out the Officer and me plus half the squad it was pointless to go on so called the mass casualty and moved on.
You caught us as we fell back to regroup. That was the first engagement for most the guys so they were a little freaked out. I was trying to get the LT to get us out of there because I knew how you guys play but alas you got us.

A few of the guys were really good, but that didn't help much in that case. A couple of them want to come play with us blank guys, especially after firing Doc's M1.

Ha that's right. You were right in the middle of "they're going to flank us now" and 'bang bang' there they were. I was looking the wrong way of course, made me jump big time.

Great pics! Were the pics staged? I didn't see a lot of people wearing goggles. That SS officer looked like the real thing. Think I will put together a French Resistance impression, that would be cool!

nope, no staging, the photographer just floated in the background and took pictures as we did things.

Wow, I am surprised at the lack of safety. There were a lot of guys not wearing goggles and a 6mm BB will tear an eyeball up or blow teeth out of your face. I still don't like the idea of mixing airsoft and reenactment for that reason. Other than that it "looked" like a great event. The Brit guys were great.

Many of the photos were taken during training sessions. There were periods were goggles were required, but when not in those times they should have been stowed away so as not to be an issue.
