We need a name to describe us when we do local displays and events.

I like 1944, but it should be 1944 Historical Group.

I think the title:
Inland Northwest Living History Association
Implies your going to cover everything from Revolutionary war to Vietnam. If that's your plan? Cool. If it's not then it needs a tighter definition in the title.
my .02 cents.

If we get this up and running we sound more inclusive to those who are into Vietnam, Civil War, etc. Then we can convert them to WW2.

So Klaus, should we end the vote and take the name that has won or re-hash this at the next meeting in June?
Thoughts and opinions? Anyone?

I agree with Wade, we should pin this down to reflect the WW2 angle. Maybe we should hash this out at the June meeting and try and get as many of us there for input as possible.

The powers have decided on a name finally. "Inland Northwest WW2 Living History Group" or in short just "WW2 Living History Group"
We wanted a name to identify our region, our interest and our method. The others names were all very well liked, but it was decided that a less specific name may cause some confusion. We also wanted to distance ourselves to some degree from the other period reenactors and thus avoid conflict.
Expect a new forum and a new web site soon. Feel free to cause dissent now, its your last chance.
