Thanks everyone that attended. This is what was discussed. 1. Creating a name for our local WWII interest group. We all belong to different units and organizations, so when asked "who are we" we all have different answers. If we created a name for our local group then this would be solved. I would like to point out that this is not another reenacting organization, just a local interest group to give us east-siders a voice. Name picked was "Inland Empire WWII Reenactors". I still don't like this however, and would like to propose a new name (see the poll). 2. Current Event Schedule is: * June 5-7 (Jump to Destiny mixed blank fire/airsoft WWII Tactical, Register here: thewardept.org/events.html * July 17-19 Fort Stevens Public Battle * September 18-20 Italian Front Tactical Event Redmond Oregon * Nov/Dec Tactical Event (date not yet set, probably first weekend in Dec) 3. Area public displays * Gun shows (Doc) * Museums (Sean) * WWII Airsoft (Sean) * A camp out event (Sean) * Silverwood display (Blake) * Local VFW (Adam Coman and Jimmy) * Civil War Event (Adam Coman) * Vally Fest (Mike) * Parks and Rec (Doc Postfalls, Sean Riverside) * July 17 Biplane flyin at Felts Field (assuming we don't do Ft. Stevens Public) (Pete) 4. New forum and website to promote us. Yes, this one will go away as soon as we give a new name for our group. We will also have an email address for people to contact us with. 5. Hand out material. Otto will make. 6. We will meet again in mid June at the Skyway Cafe for lunch. 7. Pete suggested that we dress up at the next meeting since meeting in public is another way for exposure. Klaus
