Event priority for a number of us is first for official events. So I recommend carefully considering your event dates. Plus give us a proposed location, dates, driving time, etc

I was kinda thinking maybe sometime in early August, not sure on the days, it would be next to where i live, there is a huge area of state land. The driving time when i came over to the Spokane event was around 4.5 to 5 hours, but, we were driving very cautiously because of the snow, etc. In the summer it should be about oh, 3-4, depends on if you drive like an old lady or not. There is also train, but i am not sure on how long that takes. There is a huge meadow that was at one time going to be a landing strip but gets very wet in the spring. We could set up a tent down there or in the state land right next to it there is a few small meadows inside of the forest but that would entail carrying all the stuff back in the forest a ways. The forest is very big. Ian

I think it would be great to have an event over there. Like Klaus said official event take priority. Depending on the size of the group, will somebody need to be contacted with the state to use their land? Don't want to get in trouble with the state of Montana ;D

Yes, i will probably need to contact the lumber mill since they own it, but i might not because they allow recreational use and hunting without having to contact them. Also i have a state lands permit so i think that will let us use it.
